Welcome to the Art of Robots, a site run by the New York Robotics and Home Automation Meetup Group. 

The home page for our meetup group is http://robotics.meetup.com/72.  We hold meetings roughly 2 - 4 times per month, some are talks or discussions and others are workshops.  You can find the calendar at http://robotics.meetup.com/72/calendar/.

This wiki is intended to host our technical records and documents in a more organized way than is possible on the meetup discussion board. It is here that we will host our documents about projects we are working on, or also just points of interest.  Additionally, this space can be used to plan ahead for a meeting.

Pages can be viewed by anyone, but you need to register to edit or add documents.  Like our meetup group, this is an open resource.  There is no charge for membership and there are no requirements to be a member of either this wiki or the meetup.  This wiki has a moderated registration process, however, in order to minimize spam.

I have already added a few pages to this wiki.  Some are blank for now, but provide an outline of items we need.  If anyone has information, please feel free to edit these pages.  

Even if you are only a bit familiar with the topics, doing a little research and putting it here for others to read / edit / improve is a good way to get started learning.
